Here is the summertime workaround for the daylight savings time changes for 2007 for the Cisco CatOS.
Login to the CatOS device and enable. To make the change, follow the commands below.
set summertime enable zone (CDT for US Central Time Zone)
set summertime recurring second Sunday March 02:00 first Sunday November 02:00 60
set summertime recurring second Sunday March 02:00 first Sunday November 02:00 60
That’s it. Check the results by issuing:
show summertime
Output:
Summertime is enabled and set to ‘CDT’
Start : Sun Mar 11 2007, 02:00:00
End : Sun Nov 4 2007, 02:00:00
Offset: 60 minutes
Recurring: yes, starting at 02:00am of second Sunday of March and ending on 02:00am of first Sunday of November.

Now your time will be correct when the switch to DST occurs.
